So here's a curious topic for you guys, are any of you actually interested in speedruns? And if so, what games are you usually up for going for it in?

Right now, I've mostly been watching streamers over on Twitch, but it's really been sparking my interest up and I've been actually thinking of trying to hit up some speedruns in Banjo Kazooie. But what are some of the other games on Xbox that you think would be really interesting to get involved with if you wanted to?

don't do banjo kazooie on xbox, there's no point to it and the running community will laugh at you. I've been looking at bioshock and possibly halo 3 as they're old enough to where they've already been routed so it's less work haha. That being said if you ever wanna race with someone I'm down if I have the game :) (yes even banjo we just gotta keep it hush hush :p haha)

I don't see why the hell would the "running community" laugh at him. I would be more interested in seeing someone run banjo kazooie than bioshock or halo 3.

cause there's no point in doing it as it lacks the ability to skip text as well as not being able to jump up steep slopes adding alot of unneeded time compared to the N64 conterpart. (hense why there's no on running it on xbla) No need to get hostle dude. I never said he can't do it, I just recommended not doing it as there's little motivation there (for reasons I've already stated.) That being said it's still a free would and he can run what he wants.

Speed running is more for the computer in my opinion, even though I could can only dream of doing a speed run on either. I occasionally go over to speed demos archive and watch some runs for games that are pretty interesting. They have some really short ones like for Morrowind which is only about a dozen minutes long.
