Hello! I’m trying to play the orange box on my Xbox series x but it’s not working. Nothing happens when I put the disk in and it won’t even start the install process. Since steam support is a joke and won’t let me message Valve directly this is probably the best thing I’m going to get and yes I’ve tried Microsoft support. Here’s everything I’ve done so far to try and fix this:
1. I’ve rebooted the console through the troubleshoot screen.
2. I’ve installed the game through the Xbox app and put the disk in… nothing.
3. Tested other Xbox disks I have to see if the disc laser is damaged. Other games work perfectly fine.
4. Tested the orange box on my Xbox one s and it worked perfectly! It just won’t do anything on the new series x.
I’m honestly at a loss of what to do next. If any of you or if someone from valve sees this has any other solutions ideas, please say so!
