C'mon zombie enthusiasts, you knew that a game based on the Walking Dead series was creeping up on us, let alone that there's practically an endless list of zombie game titles. Hell (literally), Wii U is getting its very own zombie title, "Zombi U!" I know, clever. But hey, we're not here to discuss kids and young adults being prepared for a zombie apocalypse, Lets take a look at these bloody achievements for Walking Dead!

Note: As you interact with other characters throughout the game, there will be moments when there's a time limit as to how long you have to respond. This is indicated by a diminishing white bar underneath the dialogue menu. Another thing to note is whether you respond to other characters in a negative or positive way, it'll have no bearing to all chapter completion-type achievements. The dialogue choices that you make only effect (short-term or long-term) the way the character you're talking to responds. It's a zombie apocalypse. With that being said, try to be as nice, loyal, courteous, respectful, and logical as possible. Put it this way: what would you do if you were Lee (main character)? Lastly, use the crosshair to bring up a prompt to push a button to examine objects, move them, interact with them, or communicate with people. Ah, I just realized something. When communicating with people, choose clever dialogue options whenever possible, as though you're Sherlock Holmes trying to find out information that may prove to be vital.

The Walking Dead: Episode 1 Achievement List

DLC: A New Day (Episode 1)

Out of the Frying Pan (10)
Complete chapter 1 of episode 1.

WARNING!!! Spoilers may be ahead.

If you've played any of the Mass Effect series or Skyrim, then you may know what to expect. The game commences with you being in handcuffs and chillin' in the back of a cop car. Surprisingly enough, the cop who's operating the vehicle will talk to you. Throughout the ride, dialogue menus will pop-up periodically. Each of these menus will give you three (3) different responses to choose from. The cop's responses depend on the dialogue options you choose. Feel free to pick any one. Whichever response you choose will still move the chapter forward. Somewhere down the lines of chapter 1, you'll be trying to flee from a crawling zombie in a forest. As you try to do so, you'll bump into a car. Look on your character's right for a shotgun shell. On your character's left will be a shotgun. Load the shotgun and aim precisely at the zombie's head. Once the zombie's dealt, look slightly upright to spot a mysterious figure from a distance. Call them for help and, of course, they'll steer clear from you. Navigate the cursor to YOUR right to unlock the achievement

Adventures in Babysitting (10)
Complete chapter 2 of episode 1.

WARNING!!! Spoilers may be ahead.

Chapter 2 will pick up from the previous chapter. You'll find yourself in the backyard of someone's home. What's the first thing that someone would do when in the back of another person's home? They examine the treehouse to see if anyone's up there! Next, examine the sliding glass door until you're able to enter the house. There will be a pool of blood on the kitchen entrance's floor. Examine it to initiate a short cutscene. When you regain control of your character, examine the drawer next to the refridgerator. You'll obtain your very first permanent item for usage. Exit the kitchen and proceed towards the front portion of the house. On your character's right will be a table. Ontop of the table sits an answering machine, which is indicated by the blinking red light. Examine it to hear three messages. Once the third one commences, a cutscene will follow immediately. During the cutscene, another survivor will radio in. A dialogue menu will pop-up. Choose the least creepy responses. It won't be long until, you know it, a zombie appears out of nowhere. Position the crosshair on the zombie throughout the entire battle to attack it. The fellow survivor will soon approach you with a hammer. Target the hammer to grab hold of it and target the zombie. When you have the zombie pinned down to the floor with your foot, hit it four times with the hammer. The achievement will unlock afterwards.

In Your Charge (10)
Complete chapter 3 of episode 1.

Note: Everything that's stated below will occur only if you choose to leave the area immediately while it's still light out.

You and your new friend will exit the house and try to leave the premises. As you approach the gate which leads to the neighborhood, a dialogue menu will pop-up. Choose an option, and your character and the fellow survivor will confront the two non-bitten individuals whose truck is trapped. Respond to the next few dialogue menus. You'll end up helping the two guys move their truck, whether you like it or not, even with an injured leg! Target the hood of the car to assist your new pal with pushing the car off of the street. If you chose to leave in the evening, then tell whoever approaches you the truth via the dialogue menu. Don't worry, they'll believe ya and take you in. The achievement will unlock shortly after you escape the zombie-infested area. If you decide to be foolish and wait until the sun sets to leave, then two cops will approach you instead and Chet will be a zombie. Respond to the cops truthfully, even if they don't believe you!

Rock and a Hard Place (10)
Complete chapter 4 of episode 1.

WARNING!!! Spoilers may be ahead.

A lengthy cutscene will follow shortly. You'll be introduced to new people, someone will tend to your leg and provide you shelter for the night, yadayada. When the cutscene finally comes to a closure, and you regain control of Lee, approach Kenny's companion to investigate her. It's always recommended that you see what your fellow survivors are all about. One of them could be keeping zombies as pets. Hey, anything's possible! After you've exhausted dialogue options with onomatopoeia (Katjaa), walk towards the blue truck to initiate conversation with Kenny. Exhaust all dialogue options with him. Do the same with Shawn, who can be found working on borders by the tractor around the corner of the house. Examine (or check out, if you're a female) Shawn until a conversation strikes up. Assist him alittle bit by cutting up some wood, and head over to Hershel. Be nice to the old man. I'm confident that you're aware of the saying "respect your elders." As you go through the dialogue with Hershel, Duck and Shawn need serious help (and I don't mean mental help). You can only choose to help one or the other. Help Duck, just because he's a kid. The achievement will unlock after Hershel chews you out for not trying to help when you actually did. *Sigh* old people.

It's Just One Bullet (10)
Complete chapter 5 of episode 1.

WARNING!!! Spoilers may be ahead.

Now that you're no longer welcome in Hershel Farms, you and Clem decide to travel elsewhere............to a zombie-infested town. The cutscene will continue to flow as you're taken in by other fellow survivors who are hiding out in a Pharmacy. Prepare to partake in dialogue. Remember to respond rationally and just. This is no time for fellow survivors to despise you! Clementine will need to potty as the grown ups are talking. It just so happens that there's a zombie in the bathroom. Lee will attempt to save her. As he tries to do so, he trips and falls (nothing new there). Have your hands ready; it won't be long until you have control of the crosshair. Target Clem to obstruct the zombie and follow the button prompt(s). After this little episode, the pope will die and leave Kenny in charge. Scan the store for food to give to your fellow survivors. Hint: Whatever food you find will serve as a good conversation starter. Be sure to check in with everyone and kick-start things with your new buddies. Also, don't forget about Carley's side-mission where the radio she's messing with requires two batteries. To activate the side-mission, examine the radio after talking to Carley. The first battery is located on a shelf, up against the wall, by where the greeting cards are. The second battery is near Clem. Ah yes, dear old (hah, irony) little Clem. Inspeaking of her, she will offer to assist you with moving a desk in the back room you will enter. Although she may be strong-willed, she's also silly. Find something to patch her up with, scavenge the room for any items (they can prove to be useful later on in the game), and take the now unclogged path. The brave one out of the bunch (besides you) will radio in. Grab Carley and meet up with Brave (to honor the movie...................Brave).

Once you regain control of Lee, do the following in order:

----Position him at where the brick wall begins to take a peak around the corner of it.
There will be a pillow on the floor. Obtain the pillow.
----Target the RV to walk quietly towards it. Take a peak around the corner of the vehicle to scout the zombie on the side of the it. Then, talk to Brave, followed by retreating to the brick wall.
----Talk to Carley. She will inform you that there's a truck on the right side of the premises. Carefully make your way to the truck.
----Examine the window until Lee takes a peek through it. He will foolishly attempt to shatter the glass whilst there are a few zombies in the area.
----Make your way to the rear of the truck to see a zombie chillin' against a car's tire. Target the zombie to use your handy dandy pillow to take care of it.
----Examine the nearby car for any........*cough cough.......small items.
----Return to the truck and use the small item you've just found to obtain what's inside.
----Retrace your steps back to the brick wall to the RV.
----Remember that zombie who was standing next to the RV? Well................it's still standing there. Target it and choose the item you found in the truck. Stab the zombie once in the man boobs and once in the head. Stab the second zombie in the head to get it over with. Do the same to the zombie who's pinned to the wall by a vehicle. Examine the Fireman's Axe to the right of the zombie to equip it.
----Cunningly walk up the stairs to approach the remaining zombies. Be sure to aim for the head, not the eyes!

The achievement will unlock after you make a difficult decision (not really) and leave the area.

Hey, Bud (10)
Complete chapter 6 of episode 1.

WARNING!!! Spoilers may be ahead.

As part of the cutscene, you, Carley, and Glenn will return to the Pharmacy and check in with King Kenny to update him on what occurred. After you deal with him, check in with everyone else. Leave Doug for last. Exhaust all dialogue options. Remember to be honest, logical, and nice! If you're naughty, then Santa won't give you any presents. Why am I talking about Santa. Anyway.................the mission, here, is to somehow distract all of the zombies on the street while you approach the one that's pinned down by a electrical post by a dumpster. Give Doug the remote control that you retrieved earlier in the back room. He will return it to your hands. Target the display full of TVs to turn all of them on. This will distract only a portion of the bunch. Use the Fireman Axe to break the lock and open the gate. Next, target the brick on the ground to throw it against the display glass. Now that it's shattered, the sound which the TVs are making can be even more distracting. Head towards dumpster zombie while you still can and kill it to snatch the required set of keys, as well as unlock the achievement.

Two Enter, One Leaves (15)
Complete chapter 7 of episode 1.

WARNING!!! Spoilers may be ahead.................or not.

A cutscene will follow once you grab the keys from that zombie who you dealt with previously. Once you regain control of Lee, position him close to the door. Be sure to leave sufficient space for Glenn, who begins to help with the double doors and awkwardly flees soon after. Fill in Glenn's position. Be prepared to follow button prompts periodically. As the typical zombie survivor theme dictates, the number of survivors tend to diminish. Additionally, most of the time, you can't save them all. Two of your fellow teammates will be in trouble simultaneously. Choose one or the other and Lee will automatically get them out of the pickle. The achievement will unlock upon the rescue.

Everything's Going to be Okay (25)
Complete Episode 1: A New Day.

Nothing to spoil here.

When you regain control of Lee, check in with everyone. Yes, that includes the old fart douchebag. You want this achievement, don't ya? You'll unlock it soon after you talk with the remainder of your fellow survivors.
