Xbox 360 Thinking of picking up Assault Horizon

I've heard some good things, but many bad things about Assault Horizon. The biggest complaint I've heard so far is the fact that locking on has become too easy, and the jet essentially stays behind the enemy no matter what. Is this true?

I saw the game on Amazon for really cheap and was wondering if it's worth the money. I'm an aviator in real life, and I've played most every other Ace Combat game. Would I be content with this game?

Hey, I'm not sure if you're still considering getting this game, but I'd vote against it. Assault Horizon, personally, is a great disappointment as compared from the previous games. Gone are the poignant anti-war stories, and replacing them is a cliched, high-octane, evil-Russian-nukes storyline. That's only a small problem in comparison with the action. The close-range assault system requires no skill and the game practically forces you to use it, because lead targets have infinite flares and it's basically impossible to hit them with a missile without using CRA. If you're looking for any semblance of challenge or realism, don't buy this game.
