Xbox 360 Tomb Raider reboot

I just read that there will be a reboot of the original Tomb Raider game that I loved so much for the next gen consoles like the 360 and PS3. It comes out in March 2013 and I am pretty stoked about it. I just watched the trailer and it looks pretty sweet. How many of you would buy this?

Personally, I wouldn't buy it. I think I've had enough of Tomb Raider and it's many so-called reboots. I know a few people that will probably buy this. I just know I won't be one.

Totally agree with you dude! I thought the first one wasn't so bad though...

I'd rent it or borrow it from a friend just to see Lara Croft wiggle and jiggle her way past hundreds of baddies. She's the only reason I like the Tomb Raider games. I love the series. I just don't see that it is worth the money since there are much better games coming our way soon.

The "jiggle" is much of what Eidos and Square are banking on for people to buy the game. In fact, that's how it's been for awhile now. But even that hasn't worked out lately. So now they added this cinematic touch to it to add to it. And they're hyping it up like the next "great game" so even if the game does turn out bad, more than enough people will buy into the advertising and purchase it.

Even though I am a chick, I can appreciate a hot girl, even if she's semi-animated. I don't think Lara's kicking curves are going to be enough to induce me to spend $60 on the game though. Just for nostalgia's sake I might rent it, but I wouldn't buy it.
