"The PS4 and Xbox One will be released in a few days' time and will be a new driving force for the industry," he said. "We are confident in our capacity to rise to the short-term challenges posed by the transition phase, thanks to the very high quality of our games, which, combined with the upcoming arrival of the next-generation consoles and the traditional ramp-up of sales during the Christmas season will trigger positive momentum towards the end of the year."
"This year, Ubisoft has constantly stood out for the very high quality of its creations," Guillemot said. "This will be a determining factor for ensuring our future success and enhancing our financial performance. In 2014-15, we intend to step up the level even further by launching a number of particularly ambitious titles under both new brands and established franchises, starting as of the first quarter of the fiscal year, with the release of Watch Dogs."
Seems like they lost a lot of money during the latter part of the current gen series. It seem they are risking more with the next gen and this could make or break Ubi. I hope they succeed because they have been around for a long time. I would hate to seem them fail after all this time. Thoughts?

Ubisoft makes some great games and I'm looking forward to their games on the One.

From what i have seen, every company is losing money nowadays. Sony, Nintendo, Microsoft, they are all just putting their all to be the best and i think this just has space to go wrong, but let's hope i am wrong.

I read a similar article that also stated while preorder numbers are high for both consoles, the PS4 does our pace the XB1 by a good margin,

Hmmm, this is pretty big. But i have a feeling people will dislike the consoles within a week.

In my opinion Ubisoft nailed their E3 presentation and generated the most hype (other than Titanfall). They've got an extremely strong line-up of games for both next-gen platforms coming out. I hope they do well, honestly, because I've enjoyed Ubisoft games for many many years.
