Hi guys, I'm from the UK and I am going to the USA soon on holiday. I was thinking about buying an Xbox One over there because they seem quite abit cheaper than here in the UK. I'm aware that I would have to use a plug adapter however, I've heard that I may have to pay tax/import fees at the airport etc. Can anyone advise on this? I don't want to go and buy one and it end up being the same price as it would here. It's retailing at £400 in the UK which is the equivalent to about 670 US dollars.
Thanks

I am not very knowledgable on this subject but I believe the taxes would only be if you claim it when you arrive in the UK? If you put it in your check bag I would assume that you would be fine and avoid paying taxes as long as you don't claim it. Anyone else have more knowledge on this topic? I've just traveled to Europe and back a few times and have had stuff that I should/could have claimed but just didn't and didn't have any trouble.
