Why do you suppose it is so hard to use a knife on this game? The normal knife makes sense because it's shorter than your other weapons, but when you switch to the knife with expendable blade (range weapon), it still often takes 3-4 tries to knife someone. I think it should hit if you're near them, rather than having to hit a precise point.

I rarely use the knife because of how inaccurate it is, but yeah, sometimes is fun to go on a killing spree with it But if you think about it, if it was that easy to hit with the knife, it would be better than using normal weapons.

I wouldn't say it's very hard. I actually think treyarch got it right in this game. I say that due to commando not only being removed, but by the location of where you are and where you are looking to help define where you will be knifing the enemy.

So with that being said, I think knifing is something that is not luck on all occasions, but takes a true player to figure the skill of it.

It can seem questionable to me as well. I've knifed right through someone and it been on the final kill cam. I do however think they are on the right track of getting it right. Better then in BO2 where you could jump forward unrealistically.

It kind of makes sense to need to get to a precise point, since you would have to in real life (although missing a *point* but making contact in real life WILL injure your opponent, and ought to at least injure your opponent in the game, too, IMO).

Regular knifing is way too hard in this game. I'm honestly not complaining, knifing in the previous Call of Duty games were so lame. If you really want to knife you're better off using a ballistic knife. It makes it so much easier whenever I use that.

I don't use the knife often unless I catch a sniper who is too lazy to check his "six" and use it then or if I'm out of bullets and I don't have time to reload so I make an attempt to knife the player (which results in why I have a poor K/D).

Using the knife on Zombies with Instakill, now that is a different matter...

I do the same haha. As for the zombies part, knifing is used way more in that game type than plain multiplayer. It's more of an essential in any zombie map since it's important to conserve your ammo.
