Xbox One warfame is free(xb1)

I have been playing it on the PS4 and its fun, not bad for free.

its got allot of possibilities for micro transactions but its free so you wither grind it or pay for the fun stuff up front...

i got about 2 hours in game the controls are ok... the zooming and lag of scrolling takes some getting use to... aiming the special ability (mine is shock) took some getting use to as welll... i think its fun and once i get use to it ill be ok... for me its just another game to add to the digital content and thats a plus in my book...
 
I like it, but I think they really want you to buy stuff as I can't get enough for anything good by just playing.

its the same as any other loot/shoot mmo fps... its a grind... same thing destiny is going to be.. look at how destiny has theraid bosses setup now...why i am all for limiting raid bosses and repetative over play of them. making it the only way to get the legendary kinda makes it a grind game...

one thing i have noticed with warframe is the more chests/bunkers you open the more cedits and such you get.. the game is very based on credits and if your not taking every opportunity to get credits to buy stuff your grinding twice as hard to get the credits.. i turned a streamer onto warframe who is quite good in 2 days and he passes chests all the time and plays maps 2-3 times to get the same credits as if he did a normal run thru and looked at everything.. you also get cards and such or uncommons.
 
No surprise since it's free to play on the PS4 too but with micro-transactions. Does it need Gold to play because PS4 doesn't need PS Plus to play? Looks pretty decent but I don't like how the character is too big and covers a large part of the screen.

game looks fine... the stability and server glitches are its biggest hang up to me at this point... public match making is horrible and i am on a business class dsl connection.. the waiting for like 30 minutes to get in a match is rediculous.. but i watch a guy who plays a ton and gets in and out stupid fast... it may be becasue he is running in a party..

the game is fun but frustrating.. i had to delete and re download it last night because it literately would not connect and that was after last night update... so idk..

but at the end of the day free game its a fun game once you get in it...
 
I have been playing it on PC ever since it has launched. I am not going to try it again on any other platform, but I am happy that others who don't have a PC are going to get a shot at this great game.
 
It's been free on the PC since it came out, so I've been playing on PC. I played the Xbox One version and it doesn't seem to different, but overall it just feels...clunky? I'm not sure how to say it, but I'm used to playing it with a keyboard, and with a controller it feels a bit awkward, but that's just me.

yea i understand the clunky part..
the controls feel very slow to react.. some jumps are either epic jumps or minor bunny hops and you cant really control which/when..
the scrolling for aim is slow.. (adjusting sensativity helps a bit)
when using sword or closer ange your either on top oft hem hitting or trying to reach not really sure the "range"
