Xbox One Warframe as discussed will be for Xbox One

A listing for an Xbox One release of free-to-play cooperative third-person shooter Warframe has appeared on the European ratings agency PEGI's website.

Rated PEGI 18 and reading identical to the game's other versions, the agency's website describes the Xbox One edition as containing "Extreme violence" and that the "content of this game is suitable for persons aged 18 years and over only."

Initially announced for Windows PC in early 2012 and entering open beta beginning early 2013, the Digital Extremes-developed title is currently available for Windows PC and Steam. Warframe is also available on PlayStation 4, launching alongside the console in November, joining other free-to-play titles such as DC Universe Online and Blacklight Retribution.

Microsoft Studios corporate vice president Phil Spencer told Polygon last month that the company will eventually embrace free-to-play titles for the Xbox One.

"On Xbox 360 we've got a number of free-to-play games," Spencer said, "and we're learning about what the console space is like for free-to-play, because it's different than PC or mobile. You have to think specifically about the audience you have on console, what they expect. But the learning that we're doing on 360 with the partners we have on free-to-play is definitely something I look forward to bringing to Xbox One."

Warframe for the Xbox One is not listed on the North American Entertainment Software Rating Board's website.

I enjoy Warframe and play it on the PS4. It's one of the two really good games that the system has include DCUO. So I'm glad that Microsoft is considering getting the gamee and adding it because Free-to-plays on consoles is a great way to kill some time between big releases. I'll be looking forward to when they finally announce it.

Same here. I'm glad they had this game out on their lists. I wish they could provide us with more details like maybe a gameplay video to spice up our gaming appetite.

Warframe? Not really sure what this is. But I checked some pictures online and some videos and it does look quite intriguing. I will keep a close watch on the game but I'm still on a 50 - 50 mindset whether I'll get it or not.

Summary: a sci-future of cyber ninjas! If Raiden ever had an MMO, this would be it XD Warframe is pretty good. And uhm, my friend, you should know that this game is free-to-play. Don't worry, unlike the other free-to-play games, this one is really a good F2P. You can do the microtransactions but you can do without them. And you can customize your own dojo. Booyah! Ah, right but I'm not sure if it will be F2P like PS4 and PC so we'll see.

Warframe is a fun game, and it isn't a pay-to-win. It's one of the only really good PS4 launch games that I played next to Resogun and DCUO. I loved it for the time that I played it and I would like to see it on the one. It's a great example of how an MMO can be done without it resorting to constantly getting you to buy things.

Great, so they already had it on PS4. I wan't aware that it went out for PS4 that early. I actually bought mine without checking the games that were available at that time since I was busy with Xbox One. How much do they sell?
