Xbox 360 What game made you want to buy an Xbox?

For me, the game that sealed the deal was Halo 3. I was always a strictly Nintendo guy before that. One day, my friend bought an Xbox 360 with Halo 3, so he invited me over to play it. I've been captivated by Halo games since. Bought an console of my own and entered to world of Xbox! How about you guys?

Halo 3 was my first real game for the Xbox as well. I remember spending an entire winter break playing with friends. It's pretty scary how fast time flies, I can clearly remember playing custom maps and dicking around in the forge. Such a great game.

I believe it was 4 or 5 years ago when I wanted to buy an Xbox. I saw my friend playing CoD:WaW with his friends and it seemed like a lot of fun. He mentioned to me that the new Call of Duty was coming out soon. I then bought MW2 and a used Xbox 360 to go with it. Many years later, I don't regret all the fun I had with my times.

Yeah, pretty much Halo 3. The multiplayer experience was really fun and i expect the next Xbox to have such a great title at release so i can have some more online memories.

I bought an Xbox 360 because of Gears of War. I like it more than Halo. It's one of those exclusive games that really makes you want to own a system. Halo is a first person shooter and the PS3 has a lot of that too. But when it comes to Gears of War, I think Sony does not have an answer for that.

When I played Dead Rising on my friend's 360, I was sold on getting one for myself. There were already a lot of good games out by that time but Dead Rising was the tipping point for me. The 360 had so many fun new IPs in its first few years, I don't regret the choice.
