So it's been announced that Ryse is no longer Xbox exclusive. It's now going to be available on PC with 4K resolutions and other improvements specifically for the PC. This basically just steps on the Xbox by what Crytek said. I understand that Crytek is in trouble and needs the money but if Microsoft keeps letting go of their exclusives, there'd be no reason for people to buy one. First was Dead Rising 3 and now this? I hope that all the new Halo games are going to stay exclusive to the Xbox One.

P.S. I'm not ranting, I'm just baffled by all this.

Well if it's in PC I guess it's really not much of big deal since PC is still basically Microsoft but I get what you mean. I was also baffled by Dead Rising 3 actually I always thought that was the game that would attract people to the Xbox One.

I'm not familiar with the studios that develop games exclusively for the XBox - are they many? I'm under the impression that Microsoft used money to attract exclusive games while Sony worked towards attracting developers . To bring developers to your side is the best option imo. Paying for games/exclusives means that the dev sooner or later will search for more money and port the games, like with your examples.

i know we look at exclusives as a one console onlything to me pc and console are seperate..

allot of whati see as xbox exclusives recently with idxbox are far from what i care to see.. why i never played ryse it was cinamatic and got reviews for graphics and such.. people wanted itto be a slack and hack game not a cinamatic trailer but it is what it is.. and was never advertised as more...

i am ok with ryse as a pc game as long as it dosnt go ps4 or ps3 i still concider it semi exclusiveto xbox..

heck destiny has an exclusive with ps4 but its on xbox one as well.. so the same could besaid for psn network or whatever how they dont have great games as exclusives yet//

I never really considered PC games to be a major competitor against consoles. I would wonder what was going on if an Xbox exclusive suddenly said, "Here you go Playstation peeps -- have at it!" -- or vice versa -- but I always felt like PC gamers were kind of in their own little world separate from console gamers.
