Xbox 360 What kind of game is this?

Hi, I just wondered if anyone could tell me what sort of game this is? I love the Game of Thrones books and TV show and would really like to have a go at playing within Westeros, but I'm not great at stealth combat type games. Is it mostly fighting, or is it strategy, or RPG, or something else altogether? Oh, and whatever it is - is it good?!

My brother is a GoT addict and got this as soon as it came out, so I asked him and this is what he told me to tell you... It is an RPG that uses a more tactical combat system as opposed to being 'hack and slash'. There are two quests you can follow, written by GRRM himself and set within the time frame of the first book - they alternate in chapters and are original stories (though you will see characters, places etc that are familiar). It helps to be familiar with the books first as you'll better understand what the characters are talking about, but you said you love them so I'm guessing that won't be a problem. Enjoy!

Is this the game version of the TV series?

Might as well search for more infos with this game. It got me curious.

I think I heard the reviews weren't too great, but I might give it a shot sometime. I love the show and books so much, surely the story is good.

Eh, I just played it today and it fell flat on its face. Pretty boring, but will probably buy it for my brother for Christmas. I think this is only fun if you're really into GoT, but if not then it's just meh. I'm not that picky with my viddy games either so be warned. Only play or buy if you're a super fan of the show otherwise, save your money.
