I like rap, specifically intelligent rap. MC Frontalot, self proclaimed nerd core rapper, is pretty good. He raps about various nerdy things, from internet porn to computer programming, and is definitely worth looking into. Baba Brinkman calls his particular genre Lit-hop, in which he raps about literature, evolution, human nature, and the Canterbury tales. I also really like Lil Wayne.

I listen to all kinds of music. I like to listen to rap music. I tend to gravitates toward old school rap. I have always thought of rap as poetic and lyrical. I mostly listen to pop music. I like all kinds of music. What I usually listen to, usually depends on my mood. When I am in a happy mood, I usually listen to pop songs. I like Lil Wayne too.

Mostly rock and it's variations: punk, surf, garage, indie, shoegaze etc. I also love reggae, ska and dancehall.

Depends what I'm doing. If I'm working out, I do some metal, or some punk/alternative. If I'm doing homework or working or something, I have a playlist of music I like, but it's more relaxed.

If I'm just walking/driving, it's really a mix. I like all kinds, but country really isn't my cup of tea.

Everything i can get my hands on... apart from post-rock. I really tried, but it's too slow for me and too sentimental. Aside from that, there is always a cool music to listen to in each genre.

I listen to all kinds of music myself to be honest, anything from Rock (Nickelback, Greenday) to Country music (Alan Jackson, Luke Bryan, Hunter Hayes). The only music I really can not stand and wouldn't bother with is heavy metal and hardcore. Never been a fan of that kind of music and never really seen it as music to be honest. Sounds more like noise than music.

I like a lot of music. Metal, rock, jazz, trance, swing, dubstep, glitch hop, hip hop, etc, etc. There are a few genres I hate though, like reggaeton. My favorite type of music, overall, is music like Celldweller's. A mix of electronic music and metal/rock. So excellent. Hell, if you mix a bit of electronica with rock and add some jazzy instruments then DAMN! Glorious! Which is kind of why I love the soundtracks for recent Shin Megami Tensei games, specially the Persona series.

Hip Hop, Rap, RnB, rock, metal, soundtracks, movie scores, everything but country and pop music. The day any One Direction or Faith Hill gets into my MP3 player, will be the day I die.

I listen to all types of music, I listen to mostly hip-hop and rap. One of my favorite rappers is Wiz Khalifa! an American rapper and singer-songwriter. Wiz Khalifa is open about his use of cannabis, and he has claimed in many interviews that he spends $10,000 a month on cannabis, and also smokes daily. I'm also a big supporter of Taylor Gang, Taylor Gang is an American independent record label based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania founded by rapper Wiz Khalifa. The record label is home to artists such as Chevy Woods, Berner, Project Pat, and Ty Dolla $ign among others.
Another artist I really like is Jordan Michael Houston, better known by his stage name Juicy J, is an American rapper, songwriter and record producer from Memphis, Tennessee. He is a founding member of the Southern hip hop group Three 6 Mafia, established in 1991. In 2002, he released his solo debut album Chronicles of the Juice Man, in between Three 6 Mafia projects. In 2011, Juicy J announced his signing to Wiz Khalifa's Taylor Gang Records and the following year to Columbia Records and Dr. Luke's Kemosabe Records. Juicy J released Stay Trippy, his third studio album under the aforementioned labels on August 27, 2013. He is the younger brother of frequent collaborator and fellow American rapper Project Pat.

I mainly listen to hip hop. My favorites right now are Jay-Z, Kanye, Kendrick Lamar, J COle, Drake, and Action Bronson. I listen to other genres too. Miguel and Ariana Grande have some of my favorite R&B albums in the past year.

Dubstep. And when I say dubstep, I definitely don't mean anything like skillex. Skrillex isn't even music anymore. By dubstep I mean computer generated music such as Rage quit by inexus. This song is quite catchy and might remind you of a clown. But nevertheless give it a try!

Well, seems like I'm the odd one out here, but I'm mainly into progressive metal, like Dream Theater.

40 minutes songs, instrumental openings longer than two average-length songs, and some very interesting lyrical themes make for entertaining listening. It's quite heavy-duty and it's definitely not for everyone, but I love it. It may stem from a love of orchestral music too - while the instruments and sounds are very different, neither of them stick to the same structures. They repeat themes throughout pieces, but those themes manifest themselves in very different ways.

Sadly, it makes listening to a lot of music quite difficult, since songs seem to end before I've had a chance to start listening to it.

My taste in music is quite eclectic. It can depend on a combination of factors such as what season we are in, what mood I am in or what activity I am doing. For example, in the winter, I tend to lean towards rap, with artists like 2pac, Biggie, Wu-Tang and Nas. I also love to listen to classical and opera on cold winter days, my wife and I will cook dinner and eat by the fire with some good opera playing in the background. In the summer I am usually in the mood for electronic, dubstep, reggae, and some hip hop. In the fall I'm always in the mood for jazz, especially artists like John Coltrane and Miles Davis. I know this all sounds nuts but it's the truth. I'm really not sure why the seasons make my taste in music change. All in all, I love all genres of music, even some country music songs!

As my tastes in music are very well varied, I tend to float from one genre to another, not looking at particular artists, it's more along the lines of "if it sounds good, i'll put it on my phone". At the moment I'm listening to "The Qemists" but will listen to other electronic genres such as Drum N Bass, Hardcore, Acid, Trance, Industrial, Dance and then float towards Heavy Metal, Rock, Indie etc.

I also like some current chart music but not as much as I used to due to the way it's too manufactured with X Factor etc but I am a fan of Celldweller
