Xbox 360 What Will You Play First?

There are only two days left until Black Ops 2 hits shelves; I can't wait! Just out of curiosity, are you going to play through the campaign first or go straight into live play? Personally, I'm going to play through the campaign first before I try playing live.

What's sad is that there are some people on my list playing it right now. Honestly, if I were buying this game, I'd spend time on the campaign first. It's almost a sure bet there will be online issues day 1. So I figure let them iron out the issues while I play campaign and hopefully it's all done with by time I'm done with it.

I will play the campaign, but I tend to play multiplayer when I have limited time. It will all depend on whether my bros are on, or not. i have a lot of fun on multi, and it usually makes single player so much easier. Playing against people, then AI's... there is no substitute.

I'll play through the campaign first; that's always been the tradition amongst my buddies and myself. We'll all play through the campaign and beat it, then we'll dive into the multi-player. At some point, someone will get good and aggravated and leave the party, and then we'll probably take a break from it and check out Zombies.

I don't know that I'll play the campaign first, honestly. I definitely want to play through the campaign and beat it, but if I get my hands on it, pop the disc into the Xbox and find that I have 2 or 3 friends already playing it live, I'll probably just go ahead and join in with them first.

Gift3d - How many Call of Duty titles do you have? How come you haven't played any of the campaigns? They're not as fun as the multi-player, but they're worth the achievement points, if nothing else.

I'm going to play the campaign first; I ALWAYS play the campaign first. I love the multi-player mode, because it's fun and it gives the game lasting value, but I feel like multi-player is something you do after you beat the game.

Under normal circumstances, I would have said that I'll play the campaign first and then start in on the multi-player after I beat the campaign. However, under "normal" circumstances, I'm able to buy the game the day it releases and have it from day 1 just like my buddies. This time around I wasn't able to do that, and since everyone else I know already has the game and is already playing it online, I'll probably skip the campaign at first, in favor of the multi-player.

I'll be playing the campaign first. I just bought the game today and I haven't even had a chance to tear the plastic packaging off yet, but I've been like a kid on Christmas morning all day, just waiting to get off work so that I could go and buy this game!
