Xbox One What would Rocksteady's new game be?

Rocksteady's gonna end their Batman Arkham games with Arkham Knight. So once that's done, their slate's clean. What do you think will be their next game?
My bet: maybe Superman, Green Arrow or The Flash.
 
I doubt that. I think as a studio they will want to diversify and get away from the comic book games. I would like to see them attack a new IP
 
Yeah, I agree with Kn1GHTMARE. I can see them stepping away from comic book games for a while and trying out a new IP. I'd actually like to see something new from them. A totally different game that we haven't seen before. But it depends on them. They might continue to work in the fighting game genre. I'd like to see them try out a Mortal Kombat or revitalize a Soul Caliber.

I don't think they'll make anything close to the comic games. Well I have to agree with Kn1ghtmare and silvananoir. They might try something new this time.

I really hope they can continue working on fighting games. I'd love to see them try Soul Caliber as well.
 
Gotta agree with the others here. They may want to go with a new IP. After all, they started with the Urban Chaos game and then they moved on with the Batman Arkham games. Quite a transition, from FPS to third-person action game. Goes to show Rocksteady can move on with genres and still make something awesome. So yes, a new IP and possibly a new genre is in order for them.

Awww dood, Ubran Chaos! That was one of my favorite PS2 games. That one rocked. While it had some flaws, it was still a fun game. And Rocksteady made THAT? Hard to believe they can go from making an FPS to third-person indeed. I hope their new game will rock like Arkham.
 
Well, they're almost like Criterion, where the prospect of making a new game already dawns them, except that Rocksteady is ending their trilogy of the Arkham franchise while Criterion can still make a new Burnout if they so wish.

I wonder what else can they make for us. I wish they could come up with something better.

Anything can go man, anything can go. They can make a driving game full of weird elements or a strategy game that will make your heart pound. They got potential to make something awesome.

Well they've been successful on some games like what thecreedforlife mentioned so I guess they will make some really cool games.

Well we won't know their new project until they finish the Arkham Knight so it's all in the waiting then.

You're right. All we can do is wait till something good comes up. Hope we can hear some news from them soon.

I agree. It'll be something with third-person or first-person but a racing game is something they got to consider carefully 'cuz the competition with racing games are really, really high.
 
While they should branch out, I do like that diamondback brought up Superman. Maybe Superman could finally get a game that is good and not adequate at best, you know? Like I don't even think Man of Steel got a game because Superman in video game form is destined to be meh.

Also doesn't Namco handled Soul Calibur in house? It would be interesting if they allowed Rocksteady to handle it since Japanese studios tend to keep development in house among different associated studios.
