Everyone has their favorite Xbox Live Arcade game, so what's yours? Mine would have to be Banjo Kazooie, but since that's technically not an XBLA original, I'd say Walking Dead or Braid. Trials Evolution is also a fantastic title.

I tell you, when those Summer of Arcade titles roll out, they are always absolutely ripe with quality.

So what's your favorite XBLA title and why?

My favorite XBLA title would have to be Dust. That was a fun and innovative game to play. It became very challenging as you moved up beyond the 3rd or 4th level.

Castle Crashers or Trials Evolution. Both of those games are just simply fun to play alone and a party to play with other friends, crashing everywhere and what not. Got them at release and never had a complain about them, really worth the price they were and i recommend them a lot for what they go now on the sales.

It's hard to pick. There's a lot and I haven't played all of them, and there's a lot of variety too... but I think I'll pick The Walking Dead. It's a game that dared to not treat children as somehow invincible and the game sure made me tear up a lot, specially Ep3 and Ep5. Love it!

There are tons of XBLA games and I wish I can say I've played more but of the few that I own and have played I'm going to have to say Pacman Championship Edition DX and Castle Crashers. They both get a dead tie from me. The Pacman game is extremely addictive and Castle Crashers is just a fantastic game to play with a friend. I think Aegis Wing (a free game) and Marble Blast Ultra get honorable mentions though.

Trials is great, though I also really liked the dorritos games, they're free plus they're really actually fun to beat your friends in

I completely forgot about Castle Crashers, which is funny because I wrote an achievement guide for it that was published in a book! Castle Crashers was great man! I absolutely love those old beat em' ups, and it was great to see a new take on the old genre. I can't think of many side scrolling beat em ups that have been as good as they were back in the arcade days.
