Okay, I guess I'll split this up into two parts: Fallout 3 and Fallout NV.

In Fallout 3, my favorite companion was Charon. Good lord, I loved him. I loved him for his loyalty (even though he was technically a "slave"), and the fact that he could've killed me but he didn't. His shotgun was great and he hardly died with me. I loved the fact that he was a go-getter, and he always spotted trouble before I did. He's kind of like an older brother, accepting the responsibility of your character and willing to die for you.

In Fallout NV, Boone was my sweetheart. I had such a crush on him, it was ridiculous. HE was a major bad ass. He was a great shooter, and quiet. Solemn. Unlike that talkative Cassidy. She said something EVERY TIME we crouched down, it was annoying. I really wished I could've pursued him romantically.

In Fallout NV, Boone is definitely the best, but I like Rex. I like the idea of having a pet companion.

So, you can probably guess who my favorite Fallout 3 companion is....Dogmeat.

Id have to say Dogmeat.

I had to reload so many times in Fallout 1 to make sure he finished alive - he kept on getting blown up by other followers or Super Mutants D:

Just started playing Fallout 3 atm and haven't found him yet, but I have a Brotherhood of Steel woman following me around. No real personality there, but its nice to have a packhorse to lug around loot for me.

I liked Fawkes in Fallout 3 because he is an absolute tank and a gentleman by super mutant standards.

In New Vegas, I preferred Raul because of his ability (equipment takes longer to degrade) and because of his cynicism and sarcasm. He's also voice-acted by Danny Trejo, which makes him cool by default. xD

Boone in fallout NV he was a bloody nutter! Good shot, and didn't get in the way of my gunfire, talking about this now has made me really want to go and play it now...I gotta find my disk somewhere. It must be around! I forgot how many hours I spent on this game it is so good!

I still need to play fallout three, I only played it once for about an hour or so and it was good but I didn't get into it as much as fallout NV

I really liked Raul the Ghoul in New Vegas (he was in black mountain for those that don't know), he was just fun to me for some reason but my favorite was ED-E from the DLC, that was the most fun I had with a companion I just really liked him for some reason and (spoilers) actually got quite emotional when he gave his life for me haha, I remember getting up from my seat like EDDIE! and my girlfriend making fun of me,

Ohhhh, my gosh yes. When (SSSSPPPPPOOOIIILLLLERRR) it was time for ED-E to sacrifice, I got a bit emotional (sniffle sniffle). Hey, did you know that there is a grandma in a junkyard somewhere, and she has another robot like ED-E. So you can transfer all of ED-E's file to the robot and ED-E comes back!

I noticed nobody mentioned Arcade. Did you guys just not like him? Did you guys know that he was gay?
