Okay, I guess I'll split this up into two parts: Fallout 3 and Fallout NV.
In Fallout 3, my favorite companion was Charon. Good lord, I loved him. I loved him for his loyalty (even though he was technically a "slave"), and the fact that he could've killed me but he didn't. His shotgun was great and he hardly died with me. I loved the fact that he was a go-getter, and he always spotted trouble before I did. He's kind of like an older brother, accepting the responsibility of your character and willing to die for you.
In Fallout NV, Boone was my sweetheart. I had such a crush on him, it was ridiculous. HE was a major bad ass. He was a great shooter, and quiet. Solemn. Unlike that talkative Cassidy. She said something EVERY TIME we crouched down, it was annoying. I really wished I could've pursued him romantically.
