Xbox One Why not wait for it all at once?

I just joined the other day, and all I see is people posting pictures of games and accessories your picking up already. So I'm waiting till mid night and getting it all at one, and my wife tells me that my patience is not my strong suit. So why is everyone picking up early? I have the following already pre order and paid for at Gamestop

XBOX One
TV mount
XBOX Live day one card (needed to renew in Dec)
Cod Ghost
BF4
Ryse
DEAD rising 3
Assassins Creed 3
MADDEN 25

I want it to feel like Christmas/Birthday/ Hanukkah All I one 10 min period!

So with that said why not wait? Show a little patience! It is Killin me.
 
Well, I know some online sites are shipping games a little early so people might just happen to get them.

Also, I would rather avoid places like Gamestop on launch day if at all possible. If they call me to pick up my preorder games early I will definitely do it.

On launch day I have to go into work and won't be able to get out even for lunch so I'll be getting my games after 5pm that day. I'm already dreading what the line is going to look like. I really wish I ordered my games online.
 
Hopefully folks receiving the XB1 early will begin posting pics of the new system!

There is limited pre orders so I don't think the lines will be that bad. At least here in Reno the ps4 launch at the gamestop where I go there was only like 40 something people

I agree... But it is fun getting some of your bounty early. True, there is nothing you can do with any of it til the system comes out, but it's kinda like bragging rites!

I see both sides of it. I'm dying of anticipation, so even just being able to hold the controller and mess around with it would be cool and hold me over until I get the console. Same with the games, I could look at the instruction manuals (do they still provide those) to hold me over for a bit.

At the same time, it is a nice feeling getting about 10 things at once and spending some time just hooking everything up.

If you preorder, some items have earlier release dates so you get them on that date, not the date the Xbox One is released.

Yesterday I received via UPS COD Ghosts and Madden 25 as their release date was 11/19.

I'm currently staring at the clock on this forum and I'm in disbelief... Hardly believe this time tomorrow I'll be counting down the hours... Minutes... Seconds...
