Would a security camera app work for the Xbox One? You know, since this console is supposed to be an all-in-one console, maybe we can have the Xbox One be our security camera console. Think it might work?

Hmmmm.... not quite sure. It'll take a while to really make it work but I think it will. They just got to have the right cameras though since you'll need some that are wifi-enabled to really be compatible with the Xbox One.

I don't know if it would, but that would definitely be interesting to see something like that on the Xbox One. I think that enough people would be interested enough that there would be a reason to develop something like this and then see it work.

I think i read an article a month ago with marc whitten saying his was coming soon in an update so when someone rang the doorbell a video would pop up on xbox. Of course i cant find that article now

I don't know if that would work. It would be nice, though. It would be like a hidden camera in a way. I think they should do something like that.

It would be nice if the thing works. But right now I haven't seen any article or whatsoever talking about the application. I guess they pulled it out from the sites and are still working on it.

This would be a nice app to add on Xbox One if it were to be implemented.

I think it would, I had facial recognition software for my five year old Asus laptop and it worked like a dream. Let's be real now, the Kinect 2 is a lot better than a cheap laptop camera.

It could work, the application of such a feature is "creative" so to speak. If you want to use it as a security camera, the Kinect may have to be moved around and that could be an inconvenience. May also consume extra power if it has to record all the time.

Hmmm... it might work, with the right tools. And that would be cool, very cool. It sorta reminds me of that part in the American version of The Girl Who Kicked The Hornet's Nest, where there was a lot of cameras installed in that wooden cabin and it was all connected to one computer. Pretty sweet if that can be emulated into the XB1.
