Xbox 360 Will they release a Fatal Frame for the Xbox 360?

I loved playing Fatal Frame on the original Xbox. This horror game series was very very scary (a lot scarier than Resident Evil and Silent Hill IMO) which really caused me to have goosebumps every time I played. Oh, and I screamed like a girl every once in a while during some tense and horrifying sequences. I miss playing Fatal Frame. Won't they release a new game in this series for the Xbox 360?

P.S. I don't know how I survived playing through the Fatal Frame games

I really don't know who holds the license right now. At first i thought it was Nintendo, but some days ago Fatal Frame was just released as a classic on the PSN store. Maybe it's on a third party company? If that is it, than yes, expect some kind of multiplatform reboot. Just like Silent Hill Downpour... everyone loved that game, didn't they?

It just think it's a waste to let go of a franchise as good as this. Fatal Frame could hang on with the rest of the big survival horror franchises. It brought another kind of gameplay to the horror genre while maximizing the scares. It's like Pokemon snap meets Silent Hill. A reboot would definitely be a great great game that would appeal to horror game fanatics.

Well, they're still releasing games, aren't they? They've just been releasing them on like... the Wii? And didn't localize the last one? I haven't kept up with the franchise. I played but didn't finish the first game and it was very good. I got bored as hell trying to play the 2nd game, though.
