Xbox One Wireless Controller & Charge Kit

Is anyone planning to get the extra charge kit? We are still working out the details since we are planning to get the Xbox One around the same time we need to shell out some money for some other stuff (required things, not want things like this). Does anyone know how fast it will charge while you are playing? I am wondering if the speed is similar to most smartphones during use/charge.

I like the MS 360 battery packs. I have two for my 360 controller and the MS charger, I just keep one in the controller and the other charging 24/7 and just swap them when the one in the controller gets low. I purchased them along with my Elite and they still work great holding a charge for a long time. This way I never have to plug in my controller, it's always wireless. I plan on doing the same with the Xbox one.

isnt the new xb1 controler comming with a cord to connect for charging?

i have a usb to controler cord on my 360.. i love it.. and its odd how much it stays plugged in and it dosnt bother me in the least. i do connect it to play games or what not from time to time but most of the time its not an issue and is always charged..
