i was wondering if there would be a Xbox one controller for the 360.

from what i understand they are releasing one for the 360, and also for the pc

I doubt they'll be releasing one, but it can't be that hard to make one yourself with some minor DIY skills. The controller layout is basically the same, with some very minor adjustments. Or if it still uses the same drivers/software as the 360 did, it might just simply work out of the box with the existing console. Don't quote me on that one though.

I hope they will, but on the side note, will there be complications like what erronousRouge said. Drivers and software issues. There wouldn't be a problem on the pc version. I guess it's still too early to assume. Either way don't quote me too on this. It's just my opinion that's all.

I wish there was. That way, I can replace my Xbox 360 controller. But if there will be complications like the other two mentioned, I would stick with this. But if there will be a controller for PCs I will probably get one. Are there any comments from microsoft about it? If so, how much will it cost?

I doubt they will. It would make sense for them to stop releasing new things or accesories for the 360 and focus on the XOne mostly.

First of all, why in the world would you even want an Xbox ONE controller for the 360? It's the same exact thing, just with a different D-Pad and slightly more sensitive Joysticks. The button placement is practically the exact same with a teeny, tiny difference from the triggers. Second, I highly doubt they are going to make an Xbox One Controller specifically for the 360 since that's just a retarded idea. A third party company might make one like they did a 360 controller for the PS3, but I doubt it. However, for those wanting to try it, and wanting to see if it'll work for PC Games, apparently all it takes is a Micro USB cable to turn off the "Wireless" function and make it act as a normal wired one would.

Xbox ONE Controller is Wireless and Wired

I doubt they will make something like this. It makes no sense for Microsoft to make a controller from an older generation. I hope they make an X1 controller for the PC though.

I actually like the 360 controller more than I like the One controller but I still think that they should make an X1 controller for the PC, I don't see why they wouldn't do it since there is a demand for that kind of thing. But yeah there is no way that Microsoft would make a controller from an older generation not at this point any way.

They've already announced that there will be an XB1 controller for the PC, it's pretty much confirmed. I'm hoping it's going to turn out as well as it did with the 360 one, being able to just plug in a controller and have every game support it seamlessly is a pretty huge bonus.

I really like the feel of the Xbox One controller in my hands. It fits a little snugger than the 360 one did.

The joysticks on the 360 are bigger which I prefer but the next gen Kontrol Freeks should fix that....I'm really digging the feel of the X1 controller, I think the handles aren't as curved it fits in my hands a lot better.

If I could plug this one in via USB to my 360 and use it that would be awesome!
