Overall, my One does pretty well with voice commands, but two in particular the One seems to just "ignore." The first one is "Xbox On" -- no matter what I do, the Xbox will not come on via voice commands. The second one is "Xbox Unsnap." Does anyone know how to fix it where the One doesn't "pick and choose" which voice commands it responds to?

Hey momo,

I had that exact problem with the xbox on command and then I found out that unless you're in the US, the UK or Germany then it's not supported, I'm in Australia and that's not a supported region.

Absolutely insane if you ask me, if it can understand all of the other commands in other regions / accents then why not the xbox on.

Here's an article about it

Put h tt p: // at the front, I still don't have enough posts to be able to post links

Alimicoz, thanks for that but I'm actually in a supported region; I live in the United States. I didn't know that all regions weren't supportive of the feature though; that's pretty dumb!!

Haha yeah it is very strange, all the other commands work perfectly, not sure what the issue is with it being region restricted?

The only other thing I can think if is that your console has somehow gone from instant on to energy saving (I think that's what it's called) in the power options?

Probably has something to do with the region or maybe your voice quality.

I haven't called Microsoft as it says in the news article that it's not supported in Australia yet, I might post it as a question in the forums

Hmm. I hadn't thought of this, but maybe you're right. I wonder if this could have changed on its own as part of one of the updates. I'll check this and see, thanks for the idea.

I had the same notion as well. Well he couldn't confirm since there's no support for australia yet.
