Xbox One Xbox One and Kinect 2 dimensions reportedly revealed

The dimensions below were posted on Reddit, via OXM, which notes that the Xbox 360 Slim measures approximately 27cm by 26cm by 7.8cm.

Xbox One and Kinect 2 dimensions​

Console (LxWxH): 13.1" x 10.8" x 3.1" / 33.3cm x 27.4cm x 7.9cm
Kinect 2 (LxWxH): 9.8" x 2.6" x 2.63" / 24.9cm x 6.6cm x 6.7cm
Kinect cable approx. 9.5 feet (2.9m) long
Edit: Measured with a tape where the precision is 1/8" so all values are an approximation​

That's a big boy! Luckily I already cleared some room for it and it will remain vacant until I bring it home on November 22nd. How do you guys feel about the size?

I don't care about console size, mostly I just want something quiet, that keeps cool, and doesn't stand out (eye sore).

The only thing sitting in my entertainment stand under my TV is my Xbox 360. There's still enough room for 3 or 4 Xbox One's.

Has anyone else started running wires or cleared space for their One?

I know I am weeks early, but yesterday I cleared out some space in my entertainment center for the Xbox One and ran a digital optical cable and Ethernet to the area. I even have an empty outlet ready.

Only problem is seeing the empty space with wires there makes me even more impatient.

Yup! Space is cleared and wires are set! I actually did this when I sold my PS3.

I'm fortunate that my entertainment stand has enough shelves and space for both my XB1 and Kinect. It was specially designed to include a small top shelf for Kinect. Not to mention my TV hooks into brackets that in turn connect to the stand. It almost looks as if the TV is hovering off the ground.

I had one for my 360 prior to getting the new entertainment stand. They work perfectly.

It's a big boy but it shouldn't be to hard for people to make room for it. Though I'm curious as to why it's so heavy. I've held the console and man did it drag on my arms, the PS4 is much lighter. Still I have no problem with the dimensions of it, I know I have a place to put it.
