Microsoft announced last week it will ship software accessory specifically tailored for Xbox One users in France, Germany, Italy, Spain and the UK by October 2014. The company stated the Xbox One Digital TV Tuner is a USB-based TV turner that works well with free to air television content common in those countries. You get all of this for $40. Customers in Europe will get more entertainment features and live TV through Xbox One. They will also have the ability to access their favorite shows and channels on Xbox One Digital TV Turner. Lucky for potential new customers in the EU!

you can do the same thing with the usa regional xb1

you still need to have a cable subscription. basically you are taking an antenna and converting it to hdmi... it is d.n.t in the usa... cisco makes the best one for our application... proablem is your cable company must offer the ability.. twc does..

Once you get the HomeWrox, in order for it to work via voice apparently you need to:

Try setting the manufacturer to Mediasonic, then manually put in your model number. HW150PVR

i just purchased the unit i posted above and will give my feedback on how it works and setup.. i also purchased a new hdmi cable as well ...

i got it and honestly cant get it to work... its more than frustrating.. and because its electronics i cant ship it back... i need some type of reciever...

from what i understand and im not cable guy

it will not convert a cable company feed to hd you need a reciever/bunny ears something about an encryption with the cable company even if you have cable thru them.. you can only convert over the air free tv..
so i am back to square 1 with all this but stuck with the unit.
