Xbox One XBox One disc goes back into console on ejection

My XBox reads the disc and works fine but when I try to eject it the disc goes back into the console. It works properly again only when I unplug it and then plug it back on. Anyone else having the same problem?

Never had issues with the disc drive. Does it happen all the time.

I wonder if it was a glitch on mine as well, it did happen before but it happened only once.

Have you tried doing a hard shutdown on your Xbox? Like clearing the cache and everything? Try this and see if it still does it. This generally fixes most glitches! Clearing your Cache

i have the same problem after the update and sometimes it doesnt read my discs and says its damaged when they're not, i contacted xbox and they said its a known issue and are aware of it and trying to fix it

I've had issues with my disc drive from day one, unfortunately. Sometimes I can put a disc in and it reads it fine, other times I have to insert and eject the disc ten times before it finally recognizes it. =/

Haha. I know man. I've had some issues with the disc drive from way back. But now it's not acting up. I don't know what I did back then but the problem stopped for some reason. Well hopefully it stays this way.
