Xbox One xbox one GO PRO APP: its comming.

New apps are coming to Xbox 360 and Xbox One later this year featuring curated GoPro video content, Microsoft and GoPro announced today.

The upcoming GoPro Channel apps will allow users to stream videos recorded with GoPro's line of cameras, which are small and lightweight, making them them ideal for mounting in places that are usually not conducive to holding a camera.

cant wait. i have wanted a go pro hero3 for the boat... could see some sweet stuff... should be intresting especially if it has an edition option...

Too bad I don't live in the west. Would've liked to have similar apps come the Asia. I also have a US account but these are not usable so pointless for me either way.

I like what the app offers on Xbox One, and the content is pretty awesome to watch. I think Microsoft made a smart move bringing GoPro to the Xbox One, especially. I don't own a GoPro myself, but I wish I did. I could find some uses for it, although they wouldn't all be super interesting or anything. I have tons of friends who own these cameras, and I'm sure they'll be uploading content to the Xbox One app.

the content is kinda slim to be honest.... in all i think 270 vids.... and most are high production stuff.. i like it just hope they figure out how to expand and get bigger selection and possibly groupes... id love to watch more fishing stuff... allot of guys are now useing those drones and go pros for some sick action.... the possibilities are very endless...

Absolutely true. I've watched a decent portion of the videos, and I am eagerly awaiting more content. I don't mind fishing content, and I'd like to see more from that field, too. The app will definitely benefit from more user generated content that doesn't contain such high production values, but I'm not sure how soon we'll see that. Hopefully soon, of course.

i agree.. it has allot of growing pain to go thru.. only real annoyance is the commercials... smh..

I just sold my GoPro on craigslist. >< I might have to re-buy one if this looks cool. So basically whatever I film on my Go Pro will be getting streamed to my Xbox One?

you hae to xcreate an account... im not exactly sure how to transfer over to the xb1 as i dont have a go pro myself... but it seems as of right now all 270 video's are hand picked

the go pro hero3 has ability to iphone app link so u can see what it sees iirc...
