Xbox One Xbox One Hooked To Xbox 360 Question

I bought a Xbox 1 for my son for Christmas and heard you can hook up a 360 to a Xbox 1 via hdmi input and play 360 games. My son plays Minecraft that he bought with gamer points on his 360.By hooking up the 360 to Xbox 1 will he be able to access the downloaded games from the 360,or is it just the ones you put in the dvd drive that will play. He plays his minecraft game every day so I hope it will work hooked up on the 1.If anyone has any info on this please let me know. Thanks and Merry Christmas to all....

I think this configuration should work Nik1. You just might have to switch back and forth with your remote. Let us know if it works!

Don't see why that would't work. The "watch TV" command should bring up the Xbox 360 with all it's normal capabilities.

While you can connect the 360 through the Xbox One I would highly recommend against it. Connecting it via the Xbox One results in a significant amount of lag. Also bear in mind that you will still have to control it via the 360 controller etc. So it's not so much that you're playing 360 games on Xbox One, you're still actually just playing your 360 console. The Xbox One simply acts as a HDMI pass-through.
