Every ten seconds it started freezing for ten seconds and then work and then freeze, etc. I unplugged the pass through and hooked the dvr straight to my tv and it worked fine. Pretty pissed, wtf. I use Verizon FiOS BTW.

In addition to the hard reboot, try a different HDMI cable. When I first hooked up my FIos my picture was flickering off and on. Switched to a better HDMI cable and it has been working fine since. Good luck.

I doubt its the cable, but will try that too. Was working fine since Friday till last night.

I had major video issues when I first set up Live TV. I fixed the problem (fingers crossed) by using the HDMI cable packed in with the XB1 to connect it to the cable box. The outgoing HDMI should be a pretty decent cord. I'm using a Monster HDMI cable. After doing this, I haven't (knock on wood) experienced any further issues. I'm running Live TV without a hitch now.

I had the same problem and solved it the same way.

Try referring to Gringo as his solution sounds very accurate. But if it really does not work and it bothers you, feel free to contact Microsoft or Xbox support. I am sure they will be a great help and a true life savior.

If not, try Googling it or refer to Youtube as both of them are great sites to refer to.

Hopefully you can solve the problem and enjoy the new Xbox one!

Yeah, I would try Gringo's solution first If you still have issues you could try Youtube since other people who have had this issue have posted videos about their solutions. If nothing works for you then you'll have to contact Microsoft. Either they can help you or if there is something wrong with the connector maybe they'll send you a new Xbox One.
