Analyst Claims PS+ On PS4 Will Net Sony $1.2bn

It's been well known by now that Sony's subscription based service PlayStation Plus is pretty lucrative for the company but we never knew just how lucrative it is. Now, an analyst has claimed that the service on the Sony's upcoming system the PlayStation 4 alone will bring Sony $1.2 billion in profit. That seems like a lot, but it's not unbelievable as PS Plus is definitely one of the best deals in gaming.

I hope the utilize the increased profits to ensure better deals for their customers. I mean, more money and subscribers should allow them to convince more publishers/developers to allow Sony to "give away" games via the PS+ service. Looking forward to it!
