Xbox One Battlefield 4 commander abilities

Has there been any kind of a formal announcement about what exactly the commander can do? I know there are tomahawk missiles and supply drops and scans. I think I saw a vehicle drop as well. Maybe these vary from map to map. I would love to see a commander's call in an A10 gun run. I've always wanted one of those in the battlefield games. So tell me, what do we know so far about commander abilities?
