Battlefield 4 is primed to be one of the biggest games of this year, but the real question is; why are we still bothering with expensive single player campaigns in these games, anyway?

i tend to agree with the article... their could be a mapping mode where you could explore the maps and test out combo on guns and attachments but the whole needing a campaign/story mode is ehh... i tend to find it not necessary. even with cod i havnt played 1 minute of story mode.
think off all the data,guns,maps,content they could fit on a disk/cloud without having a story mode present. the physical size of the maps could double the actual computing,levelution and forms of fighting could be expanded on..
with a games like titanfall and tom clancy the division being multiplayer only it could open the eyes to cod and bf4 developers to lean that way..
