Xbox One Do you think Microsoft will slash the Price?

I don't think they will do it anytime soon, they will rely on the retailers' deals like they have been doing.
To be fair it has been working, there are some deals out there, some including games which make the One cheaper than the PS4.
As long as the retailers continue doing this, Microsoft has no need of slashing the price.

They could but I don't think that they would.
 
That's right, I think I would always prefer Win7 to Win8, as long as the computer specs are supported y Win7, which most still are.
 
God, I hope so. It's just not reasonable to continue selling for such a high price when you're being outsold by your competitor, and you already have so much bad publicity. It can only help at this point.
 
It'll drop in price eventually when they release another version of the X1. I'm sure they have disKinect version of the X1 already, they're just waiting. Rebuilding a new console from scratch is like gaming market suicide. It's why Nintendo hasn't ditched the Wii U yet. Making new consoles close to when the last was made and putting out unnecessary peripherals that no one asked for is what eventually did Sega in. They killed the loyalty they had and when you lose your stronghold country, it's over.
 
As long as its a hot seller then they probably won't cut the price. The bundles can be a good idea, especially if you are willing to look around the internet for them. In a year or so maybe, right now, no.

Probably next year. I agree. It can't be done this year.
 
To extract from what MetalSwift said, if Xbox One does well in North America and the UK/Europe they will keep the price where it is.

They have to maybe lower down the prices. I've seen some posts from some friends in Asia, they have it available there as well.
