Xbox One EA servers down now too?! Hackers suck. Just saying

Just bought Sim City on Origin 40% off...Hope they don't steal my info! lol Damn hackers...

I played that game for maybe 2 weeks after i purchased it, throughout all the terrible server issues. It just doesn't feel like a true Sim City...sadly.

I was about to buy it last month but I didn't have any cash. So it's not a true SimCity huh? Thanks for the little review right there.

I think that was the DERP team that took it down and apparently it was an accident. Anyway, hackers like DERP have been going after several big online servers for a while now and taking them down because they can and I can't understand it. Is it pride, is it just to mess with people, do you not have anything better to do?

The main thing that killed the Sim City vibe to me was that I needed to be online. One of the beautiful things about Sim City was playing for hours and hours on end, running your city into the ground, and building schools and hospitals next to nuclear plants...without worrying about needing to be online or some regional ecosystem stuff. It was simple in execution, but complex in play.

Gonna go play Sim City 3000.

The bigger issue for me was the city size and the fact I couldn't simply create one mega city that does it all. I needed to micromanage multiple cities and specialize in ridiculous things like garbage lol

I miss the megacity approach of older Sim City games. It's like they attempted a new extreme in management games: multi-micro management.

Hackers, people that have too much free time in their lives. They just can't do something beneficial for once. There is no point in hacking servers, what is there to achieve other than causing inconvenience.

They are basically the digital version of assasins. Its not something anyone can do. It takes skill. DDoSing on the other hand is probably done by 12 year olds who got hold of their dad's credit card.
