Hello. I would like some help.

Recently, I bought at external hard drive as my internal storage was running out. One of my most played games was Microsoft Flight Simulator, and is a big hobby for me. I loaded it up yesterday and found out the sim hadn’t transferred to the hard drive. I had then transferred it to the hard drive this morning, and later found out it wasn’t able to play.

I am extremely frustrated for this as I could have lost something I really enjoy. I had spent around £300-£400 on this game with addons included. I had also spent about £30-£40 on the external hard drive just to find out it wasn’t playable. Why. Just why. What’s even the point in having the drive if I can’t play things on it like flight simulator. There is no point at all in my opinion. Unless there is a way around this without spending even more money.

Thanks for any help.

not 100% on this but I’m pretty sure you can only play games when they are installed on your console not the hard drive itself. Its only meant for storing and transferring games instead of deleting and re installing them all the time
