Xbox One Games with Gold "Coming soon"?

Well, good news then. But PS+ has already gone way, way ahead. I don't care if these "free" games on the PS+ is not free, I'm still willing to pay $50 a year to have access to these games.
 
i dont see it as a big thing.. what games could ps/xb1 offer right now free?? power star golf/peggle games with gold on 360 did quite well... but they had a library of good games and i think the push was really to show how "full digital" worked and how it wasn't bad or hard to adopt.

so what if ps is giving free games... their network is still on the fritz... they are having more issues with games than xbox.. even bf4 on ps4 is worse than xbox1 and with less content..

microsoft said it would come to xb1 in time.. and i am sure it wasnt a 5 year out plan.. we are not even 6 months in... have barley gotten 1 physcal quarter under out belt.. heck we havn't seen 5 games launched for the system and you want free... relax take a deep breath... it will all be ok.
 
Remember there have been some really good games in the past 10 years on the old generation of consoles, you would be surprised.

Doesn't matter to me if the PS network is in fritz. I still dig the games they can give me for "free" on the PS+. But I get your points. Still, I dig it. 'Sides, I know how to get my games on PS+ fast.

Yup, that's true. There's a lot of good games. That's why free services like this uncover them and give it to us.
 
I wonder what's taking them so long to get some games for the Xbox One. Like others have said, PS+ have already been receiving their monthly free games from the time the PS4 was launched. Nevertheless, at least the X1 will be getting them soon.
 
Yea, I agree. I just got a PS4 yesterday and was able to download Resogun and Outlast and that's not counting free to play games like DC Universe, Blacklight and Warframe.
 
There are a lot of gamers who appreciate the ability to play older games on the newer consoles. As a matter of fact, this is one of the main reasons I've had reservations about upgrading to get another platform that doens't have backwards compatibility. The issue is that I have a ton of discs for my older version that I now have to replace with new platform versions. Not only is this expensive, but many of the older games won't come out in the new format, which means that I am just out...until they make them available by streaming. Then I have a compromise...and compromise is good.
 
I agree, most gamers do reminisce and get the feeling of wanting to play older games. I'm one of them.
 
That's why Sony is making it possible to play older games on the PS4 via PlayStation Now, the cloud streaming gaming service. We'll see if MSFT can do their own equivalent to play older games on the XB1 in the near future. Till then, you'll have to stay with the older consoles in the meantime.
 
microsoft is slowly going downhill cant everyone see it? sure games with gold have spawned many good titles but i would much rather have the ps+ services
 
I agree. Well more good titles are out on PS4. I do have Xbox One so I'm still waiting for some good stuff to be released. Microsoft has to step up.
 
Yup. And PS+ is already making a headstart on offering NEW games to play on the PS4. Better hope Microsoft can do something and step up for this.
 
Yea I agree. I was just playing Outlast last night on my PS4 and its a good game and offered for free. Same goes for Resogun. I still like my XB1 better, but these offerings are definitely enticing and can be decision makers if you can only afford one console.

I better download that later on my PS4. I haven't been playing on it for a while since I've been messing around with my Xbox One.

Yeah, I agree on that. The problem with Microsoft is that they are straying from the gaming community. Their model of making it an "entertainment system" rather than a gaming console is taking away the focus on gaming. It seems like the longer the X1 gets, the more far apart it gets from gaming.

Wow, pretty encouraging when you say that. Even with somebody who likes the X1 better, you admit that with the PS+, the offerings are awesome and can be factors when buying a new console. Pretty good. And yeah, agreed: MSFT's got to up their game with the offerings.

THIS. Now you've hit a note. Yeah, I'm beginning to see that. We've already heard that MSFT has acquired people to direct their original programming but how about the gaming? It's still a bit slow in that department. I'm just hoping that will not be the case in the future. Better hope they don't stray way too far.
 
I really don't know why they are putting much of their efforts on the entertainment feature of the console rather than focusing on the gaming part which should always come first.
