Xbox One How long before a Slim is announced?

It'll happen... in years time. It can't happen right away since as many say here, the XB1 was designed that way. MSFT probably already solved the overheating issue with that design and changing that design could already make the heating issues happen again.

Well like ragnafable says, if they can make it as slim as a laptop that would really be nice, well it's a lot better if they added an HD screen to it.
 
I think the logistics in having a redesign this early into the life cycle is ridiculous. I can understand a disc-less version, but only because it would reduce the price while still including the Kinect. However considering the initial reaction when MSFT hinted on an all digital console, I don't think the market is ready for it.

I think you're right. It would be best to keep it just the way it is for now. After all Xbox One still has a lot of room to grow.

I agree. there are lots of things and features that xbox one can have. A lot of potential.

Yeah, a lot of potential to grow. I hope to see something really cool like a virtual reality Xbox One.

I hope that is possible. I guess some are on their way to it.
