That's how I was when I got my new 360 and ultimately my One, I decided to try much harder to take good care of my consoles from then on out.

My first two committed the RRoD ritual but they were both the original models. I've had a Modern Warfare 3 Slim console since 2012 and it's still going strong and trouble free. As more of the 360 games get the back compatible treatment it gets less use and I see it lasting for quite a while yet.
