Microsoft plans to extend Xbox Live to multiple platforms, including Android and iOS, The Verge reports, citing sources "familiar with Microsoft's plans."
According to The Verge, a since removed Microsoft job posting outlined the company's plans to create a multi-platform "framework" for developers.
"We will create a modern framework that is open-source, lightweight, extensible and scalable across various platforms including Windows Store, Windows Phone, iOS, and Android," the job posting read.

Well all the achievement hounds will be very happy to rack up some gamerscore via flappy bird. Of course that's not actually how it will work and it will simply be much like how the service is now on Windows Phone. Basically you will have access to a Windows mobile store which would include a collection of games, some Windows and some not. The Windows branded games carry gamerscore and uses your XBL profile to track you progress and activity. Regardless this could be a nice little concept. Leave your thoughts below.
