Xbox One Next price reduction?

@pwarbi That's right, I'm currently thinking about buying an Xbox One S for this december, I'm actually saving up for it and seems like the price reductions are really going to help me out with it. It definitely is going to be beneficial for many people, indeed.

You think we're due for another price reduction? HOW?!

I was absolutely shocked when I just checked its price. 200€ for a console that runs games like a 400-500€ PC would. That's absolutely insane, and it definitely cannot get any cheaper. I have always said that you could get a PC for the same price as a console, but now this really isn't true anymore.

@NotCasual That probably is because MS is going to release two more versions of the Xbox console and that's why the price has fallen down that low, the ONE S and the Scorpio are really making it go down.

@Casiox That doesn't justify the extremely low price. Yes, sure, the new consoles will be superior, but the older one is still rocking expensive hardware that's being sold for the price of a toenail. It's already dropped 300$ in total which is absolutely mind-boggling, dropping it even further will pretty much be equivalent to throwing away money.

The main reason I also think the original Xbox ONE will come down in price, is simply because when the Scorpio comes out, Microsoft won't be able to justify selling the previous console at such a high price (even though it is relatively low)

People aren't going to buy an Xbox ONE when they can buy a Scorpio for not a great deal more, so if Microsoft do want to keep selling the Xbox ONE as well, they are going to have to offer an incentive, and the main thing they'll look at ill be dropping the price I would have thought.
