Well I already signed up for the XB1 beta. Sign ups started a few months ago. I signed up on day one.

I am cautiously optomistic. I've had some friends talk down Project Spark but I'm not ready to write it off just yet. I'm planning to keep a close eye on the PC beta and what's happening with the Xbox One beta when that happens and hopefully it's going to be as great as I hope it is.
Wow, it's already coming out in beta for PC? Hmmmm... now that I think about it: I think I was offered an upgrade to Windows 8.1 the other day for free. I'm not 100% sure about this but if it's true... well, looks like I can have a crack at this! Well, I'll check on this and if I have my copy for this, I'll let you guys know how Project Spark is. I'll clarify it in the meantime.

Yeah, you tell us what it's like all right? I know guys like KN1GHTMARE are ecstatic to get a hold on Project Spark for XB1, so at least tell 'em. That is if you're really on Windows 8.1. If you are, tell us okay? You gotta see what it's like to make your own game.

Whoa! Yes, yes, yes~! I've been informed I can update to Windows 8.1 :-D Oh yeah, I'll sign up for this one. Don't worry guys, I'll inform you of what I'll be experiencing in the game. Hope they can get me to try it out before the beta for PC ends. I'll see what they got cooking in this version.

I will do. I'm just waiting for that repsonse that they'll let me try. I'm updating the Windows 8 to 8.1. It's quite a big file so it may take a while. Hmmm... now to think what kind of games to make. Platformer, shootter, scroller...

Keep us informed 'aight? We need to know what we can all do in Project Spark. There's bound to be potential in there, so it'll be useful for the users of this forum to know. I've also signed up so if I make it before you, I'll tell you my experience as well.

Count me in! I'm signed up too. Now, just waiting for the reply to say, "You can now play in the beta!" I cannot wait to make my own games. I'll post some pics if I get in. Lookin' forward to this!
All right bozos, I signed up as well. Marthy and dood here can't have all the fun to sign up for the PC beta so why can't I? I've played a lot of Littlebigplanet so Project Spark may just give me more awesome tools to make a truly fun game. I'd like to see if they got the tools to let me make a platformer so hard it will make you cry >:-D I'm evil

I'm tying really hard to be optomistic about this. I've also had friends talk major crap about Project Spark but what I saw at E3 looked really good, so I want this to work out. Hopefully the betas will clear up the doubts and show off what this game can do. I want this to be a thing.

its going to be a "free" game anyway whats the point of a beta?? i understand to catch bugs/glitches and stability but in all honesty they may as well do a soft launch with expected updates and tweeks weekly if not every other day for first month.
its not like if they pull the beta(bf4) that its gone.. the idea behind spark is to have freedom.. so again whats the point of building something in a beta to loose it all when the "real" thing comes out. the beta would honestly have to be semi transferable as far as progress of build and what you have built to even make getting on the beta worth its time.
we have already seen some very nice storyline explorer games built... even a zelda type of fighting game with magic and such... i just cant see spending any more than 24 hrs of tinkering and general playing with laying land/water and seeing the texture/paint.. past that building any sort of functioning level or combat is pointless.
i am a huge fan of spark and what i have seen some very talented people developed. again i mention the zelda style fighting game because it honestly blew me away and he talked about easy changes to make the game more in depth. i am in no way putting down what the game/tooling/kit will offer just how they are approaching the "launch" its like they are going we are not ready but we promised something before 2014 so lets call it a beta and pray its 50% workable or the community is going to blast us... its like they see bf4/forza5 getting ripped appart on the news feeds and going we arn't established enough to take this no one will pick us up.. at least thats how i see it.

That sounds pretty cool. Project Spark always sounded like it had amazing potential but just needed people that were ambitious enough to do something great with it. I'm glad to see that the beta is going so well. It's just helping sell me more and more into this game, which could become a major seller for the Xbox One.
