Should I get Destiny on Xbox One or 360?

if gaming online with your friends is more important than having a more advanced version of the game, then go 360. If on the other hand you would like to take advantage of the fantastic graphics that the Xbox One can produce, I'd say go Xbox One.

Your friends have no plans of getting the One? If so, I will go for the 360 version if I were you. I love playing games with my friends and I simply do not enjoy it as much without them.

Late, but probably helpful-

MY GUARDIANS, STATS AND GEAR
Q. Will my Guardians, progress, stats, and gear carry over when I download and play the next-gen version?
Yes. Whether you participate in this program or not, your Guardians, progress, stats, and gear are shared within a console family (PlayStation®3<->PlayStation®4 or Xbox 360<->Xbox One) and will be waiting for you when you transition to next-gen.

Ugh, having to play the last-gen version of the game because your friends haven't upgraded yet is so BLAH! The next-gen version looks so amazing compared to the 360 version. Like others have said, Destiny is alot more fun with friends than playing with random strangers. I would grudgingly buy the 360 edition but you are missing out on so much next-gen goodness!!!

Before anyone jumps the gun, I know that it is much better on One, because of better quality and so on. Bu, my dilemma is that some of my friends want me to get it on 360 because they don't have Xbox One. So what do you guys recommend, considering the game as a whole and the possible gameplay experience with my friends on the 360 or playing alone on the One.

If being able to play with your friends is more important, I would go with the 360 version. Games that are made to be played on both the One and the 360 aren't going to be drastically different from one console to the other in terms of graphical quality, or at least that's what I've seen so far.

I would say pick the One. Sooner or later the 360 will have to retire and probably your friend will eventually have to buy a One so it's more plausible to just wait for the to purchase a One. But if you want to play it so bad with your pal then it's up to you. But I would say ditch the 360 and go for the One.

I disagree with everyone who said Xbox 1 I got destiny a couple of weeks ago and I still haven't been able to play it because it keeps messing up when its downloading
