Still no must have games for the Xbox One and PS4 - Forbes

Well, Titanfall is on PC now too and it is not that good as expected. I still wait for that GOTY exclusive that never came out.

Kind of unfair in my opinion--first launches rarely come with a huge amount of games. I think there are some pretty decent offerings, though. It's all a matter of opinion, too. What the public thinks is a "must have" varies from genre to genre. But hype has always worked that way, so it's not totally a surprise, I guess.

I guess that has to be decided by the management. Whatever they are thinking of will change the way we play.

Microsoft should invest its money into the developers. The exclusives are pretty good, but I want more and I want better!

Yes, that's what they got to do. MSFT says they will get more but still, it's not yet there. Sony... they already got loads. Anyway,. gotta have faith that MSFT can do it.

I really regret that they haven't invested so much time and money into the developers and gamers.

They could have done way more for us to enjoy this console right? Like improve the whole kinect system.

Companies got a lot to learn. Anyway, this is just MSFT's third device so we're just gonna have to wait and see.

You know, thinking about it.... it's weird: Sony succeeded just right with the PS1 and PS2 but come the PS3, they had downhills. PS4, they got back. MSFT, they succeeded well with the Xbox and 360. But come the Xbox One,... well, it's not all downhill but you can already see the negativity. Hmmmm.... guess third time's always a struggle but in the end, they can succeed.

I mean, Dead Rising 3 is pretty cool, but I would have expected either more games like it, or one game to rule them all.

Not exclusives but my big hits are going to be watch dogs, division and the new rainbow six there hopefully still making. Always been a fan. Rainbow Six black arrow was one of my all time favorite games.

Kinda early to call them your hits before you even get to play them.

Sony got cocky with the PS3. There was nothing wrong with the hardware, but they went all luxury device with a luxury price. Of course it was necessary from a business stand point since they went off script and decided they NEEDED to compete with Microsoft in the 7th generation and build a powerful console.

The result was Sony and Microsoft were doing the Ryu-Ken fireball spamming from their respective sides of the screen. Almost mirror image console with all the same moves (games), but different color hair and gis (exclusives), one of their signature moves that both have happen to be strong than the other (the controllers being preferred), and players having a piss fight over which one is better (the "console/fanboy wars of the 7th generation").

...oh and Sony not selling as well as they honestly should've/would've out the gate. It was all down to price and Microsoft getting the jump early, but I don't have a Street Fighter analogy for that. Sorry.

To be fair, the new generation of consoles only came out like 5 - 6 months ago. The majority of the games that came out or are coming out were developed with the previous gen of consoles in mind which is why we only see ports for the X1 and PS4. Give them more time, look at the fall lineups, those are made specifically for new gen consoles and definitely are must haves.

You have a point. Let's all give this a chance. Anyways it has a lot of room to grow right?

Still man. it's quite annoying at times but yeah who knows down the road after a few months they'll make it work really well.

Its still pretty early on, I mean both consoles aren't even out for a year yet, of course there are still no games that are worth buying an Xbox or a PS4 for. And Titanfall has a PC port so its not really a must-have.

It's still pretty weird to not have a single must-have game at launch or at least 6 months after launch, we've even been through a Holiday season already!
This has been a disappointing generation so far when it comes to actual games.

Yeah I agree with you. It's like they ran out of games to spread out, I think this generation of gaming will be the lamest and will probably be full of remake and rehashed games.
