They are right in saying that it is better than the Sony enemy in many ways.

higher resolution, better voice recognition. They even commended the x box one in attempting to literally take over our living rooms as the ultimate home entertainment system.

I knew the Xbox One would be better than the Playstation 4. I can't wait to get my hands on the Xbox One myself. It is a must purchase for me. It will be the best thing kicking off the new year.

I hear you on that. I just wish it was not so damn expensive to start with! Definitely worth it but way out of my price range for the time being.
 
The BBC is saying this? So they have both systems and everything works awesome on all of them? Because the funny thing is that the Xbone is slated to have several glitches right out of the gate due to late software changes that clash with prior architecture. Further more... wasn't everybody banned? Did they have a special backdoor or something? And beyond that ... I mean there isn't much of a comparison is there? Totally different focuses here guys, but then I'm really looking at a PS4.
 
We can't really say the Xbox One is BETTER than the PS4 right off the bat. Sure, BBC can say that but the systems just came out. We'll need time to spend with these consoles to see what's truly better. In my view, I'm looking at them equally. That's just only ONE news source. We got to see what everybody else thinks of this.
 
I am a fan of the playstation series, but when I saw the video trailer of how the new Xbox One works, I changed my mind into buying PS4. The specs for Xbox One alone kept me thinking how they got it all in one console. It already has functions for photo and video editing, plus you can watch and play videos and sync your TV. Great Job Microsoft.
 
You know what? I'm thinking of adding Xbox One to my list of must-haves. I'm already planning to buy a PS4 but I'm not the kind of guy who is hellbent on getting just one. Look at me; I have a PS3, a Vita and PC. I'm a broad-minded gamer. I wasn't too sure about getting the Xbox One because of the specs, the apps and everything else. But there's something about this console that has me thinking twice. I'm not planning to buy one now (PS4 has been on my mind) but I think it's something I'll buy after getting a PS4.

As for my comment on the Xbox One review, I have to agree with diamondback8. I can equally look at these two consoles. They both have something the other doesn't, and they're great consoles that have sold over a million in their respective launches.
 
I just tried my friend's Xbox One earlier and it was spectacular. Never had this kind of excitement before. But I'm also looking forward to buying a PS4. But before that, I need to work on having Xbox One first. Maybe having PS4 next payday wouldn't be a bad idea. Anyways I love games and I like the way Xbox and PS4 is competing. It makes me want to have both.

I guess saying what we can say about the Xbox One isn't worth squat until we've tried it right? From your words, it seems like Microsoft did something right. It might be that the Windows 8-like UI wasn't all that bad.

I will agree with you. Having both is great. Why say "I wish I could have this and this this" when you can have both? Well, I'm going for the PS4 first before I get the Xbox One. I still got to figure out where to put the Xbox One in my house. I'm about to run out of space in the room :D

That's a pretty one sided comparison here. Dont forget all the trouble PS4 had during their launch even with faulty HDMI ports. This review sounds a lot like a matter of personal opinion anyways! Its the BBCs OPINION that Xbox one is better than PS4. I say play both consoles for yourself then make your own decision on what console fits u best. Its not about what consoles better its about what consoles better for u. All this is is a opinion war. No one wins.
 
I think saying "The Sony enemy" is beyond goofy. We're all here because we love video games, and most of us are adults who can afford two or three consoles every 7-8 years. I'd suggest leaving rampant fanboyism to teenagers, once you hit adulthood it gets rather embarrassing.

That's good, but yeah I would get it when the price jumps down too expensive for me ill get it next year.
 
I went Christmas shopping this week and there are Xbox One play stations all around the mall and right at the main entrance. Microsoft has done a good job at convincing parents to buy it for their kids and having it be the hottest selling, must-have item of Christmas 2013. I played some racing game they used as a demo (have no idea what it was, it was a kid's game) and must say it was amazing!

I wish I could go to your house right now and bow to you with utmost respect. Yes! We're all here 'cuz we love video games. There's no need to hate right? Sony and Microsoft got something in their consoles the other doesn't have but that doesn't mean we have to feel like we can't have it. That's why like everybody who doesn't have to hate so much here, I'm all for video games, not 'cuz I'm just for one company.
 
I think it may be a little overthe top to call the Xbox one simply better than the PS4, but opinions are free to everyone. I personally am going to wait a while before buying any console. The BBC is really a horrible channel overall so I wouldn't take anything they told me too seriously. I have to say though that Forza is looking might sharp!

I mean, BBC is just one channel. ONE CHANNEL. Does it also matter that we have to listen to them? Just 'cuz they say Xbox One is better than the "Sony enemy" doesn't mean it's an enemy to us as well. Nothing but a biased view from the BBC.

The Sony enemy? Nah, man. That's not a really nice thing to say about Sony. There's no need for all the hate. I'll respect the opinion that you'll love Xbox One over PS4 but I can't really agree to call Sony "enemy".

Yup, must agree. It's over the top. They even call Sony the "enemy". And yes, BBC is a horrible channel, I agree. I haven't watched that channel in over 4 years.
 
Both consoles have things going for them and things going against them. There are things that I really like about the PS4 and things that I like about the Xbox One and I'll eventually end up buying both of them. The one thing that is keeping me away from the Xbox One is the fact that I have to buy a Kinect. I don't want a Kinect and now that Microsoft has made sure that you don't need one to make the console work I don't see why I have to buy it. Drop the Kinect and I wouldn't hestitate to buy it.
