Xbox One To the naysayers.............

Whatever man - just as long as you keep your own naysaying regarding the PS4 to yourself. I mean honestly I just kind of want everyone to shut up because no one is pretending to be a mature adult in any way, shape, or form and it's very trying. I mean both consoles have their points, but they also have their flaws and that needs to be accepted and acknowledge. Unfortunately, it isn't and that's why we can't have nice things like respect from the general public and less hurtful stereotypes...

As Esperahol says, they all have their strengths and weaknesses. Get over it. You like what you like. Personally, I'm a fan of Xbox so I've acquired an XB1. That's not to say PS4 isn't good. I have seen some games on the system and it will eventually rock, just like the XB1 will soon as well.

Now that I have my Xbox One in hand and have used it myself, I say to all the naysayers, (NOT meaning here, but all around)
the people whining about the resolution, the people whining about the PS4 has this or that, the people rushing to put up
YT videos with anti Xbox stuff, the people parroting the negativity over and over......................................

SHUT UP

I am only one person, but I can honestly say the Xbox One lives up to everything I thought it would.
In fact, I was actually expecting a little worse graphics due to all the negative talk going around, but
I was WOWED.

You are pretty happy with the console, I take it? I think it's a little premature to celebrate or hate on any of the next-gen consoles. We have to see a year or two of development for the consoles: new games, new standalones, hardware support, major malfunctions, and so on. I don't think it'll be easy to get an honest read on how the new gen of consoles will fare without waiting awhile first.

True, but there is nothing wrong with setting the record straight. A lot of the bigger videogame websites were trashing the XB1 early, finding things that would make it sound seriously inferior to the PS4. So, it's ok stating how you feel initially about the system and that the naysayers were wrong. I agree, in time, we'll see which system becomes the majority console of choice.

I think it's such a silly little debate to begin with. People like what they like, sometimes because they have good taste ;), sometimes because they feel loyalty to a certain brand, or whatever other reason. It doesn't really bother me what other video game console people choose, but it sure seems to bother some people :/.

Whoa, whoa dood. Chill, chill. No one's here to slam you away from your console. We can respect you like the Xbox One, but if you're going to say that to the naysayers, well, you can't shut them up. They'll rage on and keep naysaying to you. They'll eventually shut their traps up as the months go by, when they finally see the potential show itself.

I'd like to weigh in here. I very fortunite to have both systems in our home, PS4 and XB1, and we love both for different reasons but mostly because gaming is awesome! Graphics are outstanding. I like my XB1 a little more because of the whole talking to an inanimate object! LOL I didn't think I would use the Kinect much but it is so much faster to navigate through menu's plus the multitasking is usefull as well. So I agree with some of the above reply's, enjoy what you have because they are both awesome in their own ways! Game on players!

This was my exact feeling when I started to use mine. All of the complaints I heard were complete rubbish. The system is exactly what I thought it would be if not ever more

That's what I'm talking about! Good to know you got the systems and telling us how it is! So yes, the complaints those naysayers are saying really don't mean a thing at all. Both systems have something, and the Xbox One in particular, can hold its own. Sweet indeed.

This thread just keeps going on and on eh? Yeah, I guess I'm getting the point now. The critics just keep bashing on the new console, 'cuz of the lower resolution, the slow install times, etc. But as I say, it doesn't mean a thing when you, me, the gamers try it ourselves. And I see it, the owners of the XB1 who inhabit this forum are all giving the XB1 nothing but praise. It sure paints a different picture then. Yup, naysayers can all say what they want say but the owners here got their stance, and it's loving the Xbox One to the max!

I love my Xbox One. I also had some issues but mostly these were minor. They were easily fixed. I don't have any complaints, the only thing that I want right now is to play with it. I just hope that the Online games will be out sooner. (Final Fantasy 15 and Elder Scrolls Online).

I'll probably eventually own both, but honestly? I'll be buying another Xbox One first so my hubby and I can do multiplayer together. Right now we're fighting over it :) They're both good systems. I just prefer Xbox over Playstation at this point. Back when it was PS2 vs the original Xbox though, you couldn't have paid me to put down my PS2 controller. I just really love what Microsoft is doing with the Xbox. I think they step out of the box a little bit more. Sometimes it pays off, sometimes it doesn't but when it does, it's pretty friggin sweet and kicks Sony's a** IMO!!

For some reason people need to feel superior based on their choice of video game console. Let the fan boys do their trolling and bashing. Just enjoy your xbox and laugh at the ridiculousness.

This is true and comes from all sides (Sonyfags, Xbots and... what do we call the Nintendo ones? Nintendrones? I dunno). Best to ignore.

The first post of the thread was made tongue in cheek. I don't think he's particularly concerned about the naysayers.

I don't think current Xbox One owners are concerned by the naysayers anymore... We're very content.

Agreed. There's no more doubting the potential of the console. I have it in my home and love it. Now I just need to pick up a PS4 early next year and I'll be good. My ife wants a WiiU for Mario and I may just do it for Super Smash Bro lol.

I'd consider getting a Wii U for Zelda but I'll wait for the price to drop.

Well if you're happy with your Xbox One then more power to you. I'm not against the console and I'll certainly get one in the future but right now both the Wii U and the PS4 are more appealing to me. That isn't to say that the Xbox One is bad, it's a good system and a lot of the hate that it gets really isn't directed at it but at Microsoft. It's just their terrible PR machine that has a cloud over what is otherwise a pretty great system.
