With Oculus Rift doing their job on making the myth possible I guess other companies will start doing their own research to rival what they have. We might see a good competition in a few years. I hope they can make the technology sooner.

Yeah, agreed. It's all in the research but also in trying out the prototypes so at least they know what works and what doesn't work. All research and no prototype just can't work. But we'll let them to it. I'm sure they got all the plans already.
