I imported my console when it got released and it's been a little inconvenient to get the games. When will the Xbox get an official Asia release so that I can buy localised region games.
In contrast, the Microsoft Xbox One has so far been given a firm release date of November 22 only in 13 countries, none of which are in Asia. The company has instead indicated a late 2014 launch of its new console in Asia. - from CNET asia

Still no news as to when asia will get Xbox One. But I hope they get it soon that way they can enjoy the console just the way we do. There are lots of games coming this year and next year. By the time they get their own Xbox One they will have most of the games available.
No matter how long it takes they will still get it in the end. I guess the trend does get quite harsh in asian countries.
The problem isn't as much as playing the games because they are region free this gen but is that little to no local retailers carry the games because it's not official in my country yet. Those that do have the games mark up the prices due to taxes and duties. Right now all the games I bought are overpriced.Ehhh? Really? That kinda sucks. Have you tried setting up another account set to another region? Maybe that can get you the other regional games. Until then, you'll have to wait for it a little longer than the PS4. Yeah, it sucks that Microsoft will release around the and yet, Asia is not part of it yet.
Yeah my understanding is that currently while the PS4 has begun their Asia launch with it ending in Japan on Feb. 22, the Xbox One isn't coming out in Asian Territories until Sept. I'm not sure of the reason but there was a delay and that's what happened. Unfortunately it's not going to help them, but I don't see it hurting them that badly since Asia was never that into the Xbox. Maybe that's why they pushed it back? Still it sucks for Asian gamers.
Same can be said for the Nordic gamers. They've reported that Microsoft has yet to sell in their parts of Europe. So Microsoft is more or less playing it safe in the meantime.
More or less Microsoft is slowly getting into the international market. But they will probably have to wait until everything gets settled. I guess there are issues with the governments of each country about it.

Yeah, well there are issues on the governments around the world, but if they pull it off it will be one hell of a success for them.
