Xbox One When will the Xbox One be released in Asia?

I think they're not in a huge rush to export it to Asia, especially Japan, because Asian consoles usually sell better there anyway. They haven't got a lot to gain by expediting the process. Elsewhere, if they release it early people get excited and all buy it at once.

True, true. So like what diamondback8, they got a plan. Well, good plan in my view. 3 million is what they got selling in lesser markets. So once they sell in the other markets, those numbers can change a bit.

I asked mo cousin who is in japan about Xbox One (well if he knows it) but apparently he has no idea about it. Microsoft still lacks ads to show the rest of the world that they have a new console. I guess they plan on doing it in one go. A one time big sale as soon as they established and fixed all the issues with Xbox One.

The marketing campaign that Microsoft is doing is only limited to a few countries. If they expand their horizons even more we might see a possible release in asia.

No marketing done yet in Japan, so it means they don't have plans yet to get it released there. Yeah, agreed, they want to do it one full go. Well, let's wait and see how it's going to be done.
