How big of a fall do you think the Xbox One would survive? Say you have it next to the TV, not that far up, but not that far down either. Say it is about at hip length and it fell. Do you think it would still work? But it also depends on how tall you are. I'm pretty short, so if my Xbox One fell when it was at hip length for me, I think it might survive the fall, but who knows.

It looks and feels pretty sturdy actually, while I wouldn't reccomend you tossing it down a flight of stairs I think it would survive a relatively high fall actually.

Uhmmm.... I'm not sure if it can survive. I once tossed my PS2 up to the sky....... and it crashed so bad that some parts just fell off. Even the little screws. I'd rather not toss the thing.

I agree with marthyrocks. DON'T try. Sturdy or not, there's no telling how much damage you'll do the Xbox One. I'd rather play it safe and not let it fall.

No man, don't even think about that. As much as I'd love to try to think about this, I've had a few things fall from my hands before and the results weren't pretty. I'd rather just keep the lovely Xbox One away from any situation that'll make it fall.

There's a chance it will survive but the damage is what will make you wonder if it was worth the fall. So I'd rather not let it fall. Might as well find something fluffy and attach it to the Xbox One if you must let it fall.

I think it can as long as nothing broke inside. I think it all depends on the force of the impact. I once had the 360 fell off my computer desk which is at waistline too and it survived. I think we will find out soon as there are bound to be people to test this out and post it on Youtube.

Same here. Though I haven't tried intentionally doing it but I guess with the bulky exterior it might survive a fall.

Why did you toss your PS2 up to the sky? Were you mad at it or something? I hope you didn't plan on using it again or had a backup.

Haha, I remember a friend of mine who's son threw out his PS3 just to get a PS4 just last week. Must be for the same reason.

I don't care how well the thing is constructed, if it takes a fall, it's going to experience some damage. It might not impair it's ability to continue playing and yet it might render it completely useless. It's just not a good idea to put these expensive devices into situations where they might fall. Call me crazy, but if I had one, it would be installed as close to the floor as possible in order to minimize the potential for a fall or damage.

Yeah don't even think about it. Just keep it cool.

I agree, don't even think about testing it. It may look sturdy and all but it's still a fragile piece of equipment, plus the fact that if you break it you'll loose it totally and you have to have it repaired or replace, worst case is you have to buy a new one.

What in the--- you mad?! That was still a nice console man! Wow, that crazy for you to do that man. Man, I'm keeping my console safe from those kind of things.

Why? I had to hide the fact I had it. It's a loooooooong story but basically, I wanted to hide it so I tossed it to the sky but it broke. I actually wanted to toss it over a fence but uhm, it didn't go as planned so it went to the sky. XD Yeah, I'm mad!

You're really crazy. Well, that happened in the past so whatever reason you had for doing it, it's done. Next time, don't do it to your PS3. XD

Yup, that is true. At least we know it's risky. It may survive a fall but the damage is what matters. Rather not test it unless the console is already broken.

I agree, I'd rather keep it than loose it.
